Chef Story

Chef Simon Nassar, or SimSim as his friends call him, is a French Palestinian of Lebanese origin who has always been passionate about flavors, colors and art. A journalist by profession, Simon has long written and published articles to share his passion for the history of recipes and the origin of certain fruits. “Behind each dish, each smell or fruit hides a story and each of these flavors offers emotions that we keep in memory with us.”

Becoming Pastry Chef in France in 2019, and based in Dubai since 2021, Simon wishes to share the beauty of French cuisine and the generosity of Lebanese delights.

Cooking, according to Simon, is an art that must be approached with passion and love. For the best experience he uses only fine and high quality ingredients to prepare his delicacies. Customers can taste the difference and appreciate the care given to each product.

“At Les Tartelettes, I invite people to enjoy their food, not just eat it. I want people to savor the flavors, colors and emotions that emerge from each dish,” says Chef Simon Nassar.
